Jared DuBose: Austin, Texas, United States; I'm Jared DuBose, and this is my blog for AMGOV 2012. I see myself as more of a leftist due to my belief in individual's rights and beliefs. I share certain views with the right wing as well, but only on a few popular topics. Most of my political influence stems from the websites I spend most of my time on, such as Reddit. I try to keep up with politics but considering I'm barely old enough to vote I don't have much hands on experience with it. I hope to leave this class with a sense of confidence when it comes to discussing politics as well as a better knowledge of the functions of our government. I did well on my quizes and "passed" both of them.
